There are (3) Divisions in the College Level of Baseball. The divisions are divided by the type of scholarship can be offered at such school.
Division I (NCAA) is the top level of college baseball, known for its competitive teams and high-profile media exposure. Schools in this division offer athletic scholarships and participate in a national tournament that culminates in the Men's College World Series.
Division II (NCAA) schools offer athletic scholarships, but the number of scholarships may vary. They typically compete within their region and offer a different level of competition compared to Division I.
Division III (NCAA) division emphasizes academics and may not offer athletic scholarships. It's the largest division in NCAA, with a focus on providing a college experience for all students, including those who play baseball.
NAIA The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics offers athletic scholarships and has a national tournament, similar to NCAA's Division I.
NJCAA The National Junior College Athletic Association has three divisions, including Division I and II, which offer athletic scholarships, and Division III, which does not.
